This poem is special to me because my brother passed on in January and this reminds me of him. / Tierney Smith (granddaughter)
Remember Me...To the living, I am gone.To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated,But to the happy, I am at peace,And to the faithful, I have never left.I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore,Gaz...

His legacy |

Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend, & Pastor...Always in our hearts. I have been racking my brain for several weeks now trying to figure out what to put on here for Grandpa's Legacy, and sitting here tonight this is what I have decided to write. Grandpa was indeed a wonderful man. He always had a kind word for all that he came in contact with, he loved with all he had in him, he served the Lord in every way, and he treasured his family. I don't think that any one of us can say that we didn't learn anything from him, because he taught us all to love the Lord and to have faith. Everyone who knew him, knew a great God fearing man that was full of knowledge. I have only known him for 12 years but I know that I am a better person for having known him. He always welcomed everyone into his home. If he had something that someone else needed then he would give it to them, no questions asked. Grandpa was the kind of person that made this cruel world a better place to live in. Grandpa, I know that you are watching over each and everyone of us, always know that we love you and miss you more and more everyday. May God bless every person that reads this. |
